The staff at Mobile Sports & Entertainment Group, who manages Hank Aaron Stadium, has announced that the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum will re-open to the public at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, and will maintain regular business hours Monday through Friday.
This Phase I reopening will follow the Covid-19 safety protocols recommended by health and government officials, including social distancing of 6 feet; face coverings for guests and staff who interact with the public; and regular cleaning of door handles and other surfaces. No reservations are needed and guests are asked to bring their own masks and hand sanitizer.
We look forward to welcoming the public back to the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum. During the time the museum has been closed, the staff has been carefully working to make improvements in the building and update exhibits that reflect Hank Aaron’s career and the history of baseball in Mobile.
